• At 39, Les Kopasz has been a professional dee jay and emcee since the age of 20. He has provided entertainment throughout Orlando and his hometown Buffalo, NY.
  
• Soundwave’s exceptional reputation and unsurpassed services stem from Les’ extreme knowledge of the entertainment industry. DJ Les’ philosophy is simple – every Soundwave event or celebration is unique and deserves creativity, not cookie-cutter formats. He understands the importance of looking at the big picture to ensure not only musical success but event success!
• Les began dee jaying in the nightclub business where he served as Head DJ at some of the largest clubs throughout Buffalo and Niagara Falls from 1987 – 1997. Some of the clubs he worked included Bayview Beach Club, Mickey Rats, The Late Show, Fusions and LaBoom.
• Throughout his clubbing years, Les often dee jayed live on the Buffalo pop radio station KISS 98.5.
• After working the club scene for 10 years, Les and his wife Wendy began Soundwave Entertainment Systems, providing customized music and emceeing for weddings, special celebrations, corporate and convention events.
• In 2002, Les and his family moved from Buffalo to Orlando. Since that time, Soundwave has established relationships with some of finest Orlando’s venues and caterers — Arthurs Catering, Big City Catering, Buena Vista Palace, Casa Feliz, Grand Bohemian, Gaylord Palms, Lake Mary Events Center, Mission Inn, Mystic Dunes, Omni Champions Gate, Paradise Cove, Puff N Stuff and Rosen Shingle Creek.

Owner, Office Supervisor and Wedding Entertainment Manager

• Wendy Kopasz is Owner of Soundwave Entertainment along with her husband DJ Les Kopasz. As Office Supervisor, she manages the details of every wedding, corporate, convention and special event.
• She also works weddings every weekend serving as an Entertainment Manager alongside with the Soundwave DJ.
• The Soundwave Wedding Reception and Ceremony Homework as well as our Event Homework have been developed by Wendy utilizing her attention to details and knowledge of traditional customs and up-to-date trends.
• Wendy also works closely with many of the Orlando wedding planners and day of coordinators as she assembles each wedding timeline. A sample timeline can be viewed under Orlando Weddings.
• Wendy is available throughout the planning process and is eager to share wedding and event ideas and give recommendations to Soundwave clients.
• Prior to joining forces with her husband DJ Les Kopasz, Wendy worked more than 10 years in the public relations, advertising and marketing field.

You are not getting married in a church or temple, so you have the unique ability to mix your music up and make it truly reflective of the bride and groom’s music tastes and vision. If you like classical ceremony songs then that is just great. There are many classical pieces to choose from and I-Tunes is a great resource to sample music. But if traditional is not your personality, then consider tropical, rock, contemporary or Hawaiian ceremony music.

A Soundwave favorite group is the Vitamin String Quartet. This quartet takes charted songs over the decades as well as current rock hits and plays them to an instrumental quartet. Truly beautiful music with a slight edge. Check out I-Tunes to sample their songs. This group is great for ceremony songs as well as dinner music.

The ceremony is signified by the entrance of the Groom’s mom followed by the Bride’s mom. If you are including grandmothers, they will walk prior to the moms.

Processional
The processional is marked by the entrance of the Officiant, Groom, Best Man and Groomsmen, followed by bridesmaids, maid of honor, ring bearer / flower girl.

• At 36, Ray brings a wealth of DJ and MC experience to the Soundwave team as well as extensive audio / visual and lighting expertise.
• Ray worked six years at an Orlando DJ company where his primary focus was weddings.
• In addition, for 2 years, Ray served as a cruise ship DJ with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. He not only dee jayed on board several of their ships, but also worked audio/visual for various stage shows on board.
• DJ Ray is a ideal for Latin weddings and Quinceaneras as well as non-Latin celebrations. Due to his cruise ship experience, his depth of music knowledge is extreme and his emcee skills exceptional.
• A native of Puerto Rico, Ray dee jayed at some of the most popular clubs in Puerto Rico including Egipto, Divas, Crash, Greek House and Mikonos. Click here for video of Ray
