- At 39, Les Kopasz has been a professional dee jay and emcee since the age of 20. He has provided entertainment throughout Orlando and his hometown Buffalo, NY.
- Soundwave’s exceptional reputation and unsurpassed services stem from Les’ extreme knowledge of the entertainment industry. DJ Les’ philosophy is simple – every Soundwave event or celebration is unique and deserves creativity, not cookie-cutter formats. He understands the importance of looking at the big picture to ensure not only musical success but event success!
- Les began dee jaying in the nightclub business where he served as Head DJ at some of the largest clubs throughout Buffalo and Niagara Falls from 1987 – 1997. Some of the clubs he worked included Bayview Beach Club, Mickey Rats, The Late Show, Fusions and LaBoom.
- Throughout his clubbing years, Les often dee jayed live on the Buffalo pop radio station KISS 98.5.
- After working the club scene for 10 years, Les and his wife Wendy began Soundwave Entertainment Systems, providing customized music and emceeing for weddings, special celebrations, corporate and convention events.
- In 2002, Les and his family moved from Buffalo to Orlando. Since that time, Soundwave has established relationships with some of finest Orlando’s venues and caterers — Arthurs Catering, Big City Catering, Buena Vista Palace, Casa Feliz, Grand Bohemian, Gaylord Palms, Lake Mary Events Center, Mission Inn, Mystic Dunes, Omni Champions Gate, Paradise Cove, Puff N Stuff and Rosen Shingle Creek.

Our church ceremony was running behind on my wedding day. Our dj Les and his assistant Sylvia went above and beyond to help us get back on track and we had a perfect reception. Thank you so much for everything.

We couldn’t have imagined a better match then Soundwave for our recent wedding! If you ask my family and friends what they were most happy about at our reception they would say the DJ and the weather! Les had every age group out dancing the whole night away! The combination of Les and Wendy working as a team was amazing. Their organization and their help setting up the time line made me feel so confident and comfortable that our wedding night was going to run so smoothly. They had great communication and professionalism with the venue and other vendors. Wendy answered all my tough and simple questions quickly via e-mail/phone as the big day came closer. They just made us feel some comfortable during the whole process and really blew us and our family and friends away with such a wonderful music filled night!
