Alex and Chrystal incorporated many Kenyan wedding traditions into their celebration which made it extra special for their 125 guests. Soundwave provided DJ services as well as extensive LED uplighting for this affair. The bridal party was introduced to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. The first dance was Spend My Life With You. After the meal, there was a “Gifting Ceremony” where the women present special gifts to the bride and her family. The neat thing about this tradition is that is was full of humor…like when the bride was given an apron to ensure that she cooks fabulous meals for her husband and in-laws. The highlight of the night was when the couple changed into African wedding attire and they re-entered the room as women sang special wedding songs on the microphone and led them in conga line fashion to the dance floor. The bride’s mom has been battling Leukemia and has been very sick over the last few years.
