Soundwave’s main business is weddings, providing DJ services for ceremonies and receptions, and extensive LED lighting. Whether you are hosting a 400 person reception or an intimate Orlando destination wedding with guests traveling from abroad, we are eager to work with you to plan your customized celebration!
Soundwave provides dance floor lighting with LED technology that is included in every wedding contract. Dance floor lighting is a necessity for setting the mood for dancing and fun.
For brides with “platinum” tastes seeking the WOW factor, Soundwave offers the newest technology in LED Wall Uplighting, Name/Monogram in Lights, and Cake Uplighting. Our new LED wall uplights are unlike anything offered by our competitors. They are small cubes that are wireless and battery operated. So there are no wires that need taping. They literally color wash the walls in any color. A mini remote control allows us to change colors instantly. See Uplighting.

Soundwave’s exceptional reputation stems from our 2-Person Team … a service no other Orlando wedding DJ offers! Soundwave provides this service at the same cost leading wedding Orlando DJ companies charge for just one DJ. (Smaller celebrations only require a Senior DJ.)
Soundwave Owner DJ Les Kopasz is available first come, first serve. In addition, we have highly qualified wedding DJs including our Partner DJ Phil Joeckel, Disney jock with Master Talent Status; DJ Paul Viola; and Ray Vales, our LATIN bilingual specialists (See Staff for details). Our DJs have at least 8 years wedding experience and are certified by the Florida Academy of Mobile Entertainment. Also, each Soundwave DJ only works 1 wedding per day to ensure they are fresh and focused on your celebration!
For your ceremony, your Soundwave DJ will provide all the music beginning with the prelude through recessional, and a mic for the officiant. We can provide additional mics for readers, singers and musicians. Soundwave highly recommends brides enlist the services of a professional wedding coordinator for a flawless ceremony! At the reception, Soundwave will serve as your DJ and Master of Ceremonies. When it comes to dancing, it’s our job to combine the Bride and Groom‚ song requests, along with our creativity, and guests‚ requests to ensure everyone is enjoying your Big Day.

Wedding Timeline
A Soundwave Wedding Timeline is created for every client. Each bride and groom approves their timeline which is supplied to the Orlando Wedding Planner, caterer, photographer and videographer.

Soundwave’s Owner Wendy Kopasz manages the details of every wedding. She is available throughout the entertainment planning process and eager to answer questions. Wendy prepares each wedding timeline.

VINNY JULIAO – Teen and College Dance DJ
- DJ Vinny is the youngest member of Soundwave. Vinny was trained by Owner Les Kopasz and is certified by the Florida Academy of Mobile Entertainment.
- At 24, DJ Vinny is ideal for proms, children and teen birthday celebrations, and college events.
- Vinny’s charm and warm smile is a big hit among our youngest clients, while teens and young adults appreciate his cutting edge knowledge of current dance hits.
- Weekly, Vinny provides poolside entertainment at the Radisson Celebration Resort.

Owner, Office Supervisor and Wedding Entertainment Manager
- Wendy Kopasz is Owner of Soundwave Entertainment along with her husband DJ Les Kopasz. As Office Supervisor, she manages the details of every wedding, corporate, convention and special event.
- She also works weddings every weekend serving as an Entertainment Manager alongside with the Soundwave DJ.
- The Soundwave Wedding Reception and Ceremony Homework as well as our Event Homework have been developed by Wendy utilizing her attention to details and knowledge of traditional customs and up-to-date trends.
- Wendy also works closely with many of the Orlando wedding planners and day of coordinators as she assembles each wedding timeline. A sample timeline can be viewed under Orlando Weddings.
- Wendy is available throughout the planning process and is eager to share wedding and event ideas and give recommendations to Soundwave clients.
- Prior to joining forces with her husband DJ Les Kopasz, Wendy worked more than 10 years in the public relations, advertising and marketing field.

Soundwave’s Teen and College Dance Specialist DJ Vinny is a huge hit with our young adults. At 24, DJ Vinny is the perfect fit for younger celebrations and possesses cutting edge knowledge of current music.
To ensure your celebration is customized to your vision, Soundwave supplies clients with our Event Planner. The planner allows you to share with us the pertinent details of your party including requested music.
